Who is Paul Drevin from Ark Angel and what is their importance?

Paul Drevin is Nikolei Drevin's son. He has all the money and possessions anyone could ask for, but none of these things provide him with the thing he wants most.... his father's love. Paul's father takes him around the world but has no time for him, and with the constant travel, Paul is unable to establish any true friendships. Despite the fact that Nikolei is an awful father, Paul still seeks his love and takes his side when Alex tries to tell him who his father really is.
