Describe symbolism in Blue Adept by Piers Anthony

Anthony does not use symbolism in the text. He does, however, address the "class system" in Proton. In the novel, the characters are robots, serfs and Citizens. Citizens represent the highest socioeconomic class, while robots have no status whatsoever. Serfs compete in the Tourney to attain the status of Citizen
