Who is Primrose Reynolds from Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons and what is their importance?

Primrose Reynolds is Faith's mother. Primrose gets pregnant with Faith as a teenager and resents the responsibility from the beginning, especially after Faith's father takes off just a few weeks after her birth. Primrose becomes an alcoholic, spending a great deal of time with different men, often leaving Faith either alone or with her grandmother.
