Who is Julia Nelson from Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons and what is their importance?

Julia is Kari's adopted daughter. All her life, she is aware of her adoption and even knows a little about her story, but she chooses not to learn the details of her birth parents. Kari worries throughout Julia's childhood about these secrets being revealed and tries to protect herself and Julia from this possibility. However, when Julia is an adult and Kari realizes she is no longer living in fear, she decides to tell Julia. Julia learns her birth mother is Kari's niece, Mary Jo. Julia has known Mary Jo all her life and is upset to learn this truth. Julia refuses to speak to Kari for more than a year after this truth is revealed. However, Julia eventually realizes what Kari did, she did out of love and she decides to forgive her.
