Audrey is described as outgoing and loud spoken. When we are first introduced to Audrey, she is happily married, but soon after, she learns that her husband is a serial philanderer. Audrey then proceeds to have an amicable divorce, but her children have a difficult time with the change. Audrey's oldest becomes a juvenile delinquent, constantly getting into trouble. Audrey struggles with this behavior until her son goes to live with her ex-husband and his new wife. The new wife seems to bring a calming atmosphere to Audrey's troubled son and makes the situation better.
