The third installment in a young adult series about a quirky girl who loves to bake and scrapbook, Always and Forever, Lara Jean follows the title character through her last few months of high school. Lara Jean is a high school senior who dreams of nothing more than attending college in her hometown. Her family will be right down the street, her boyfriend will be on campus with her, and nothing will have to change. But when she gets rejected from the college, her life is thrown into turmoil. She begins to question her relationship and wonder where her place in the world is. In the end, Lara Jean realizes that change is a necessary and often exciting part of life and she chooses to accept it and move forward with open arms. Along the way, the novel explores themes of romance, nostalgia, perfection, parents, and sisters.
