significance of The Monster

The monster that people talk about being in the woods symbolizes the other side of people who may seems to be one way, but in their natural state are different. Corrine shows that people have the monster inside of them when she says that if she were a monster, she would disguise herself as a human and then looks for the monster inside of Bailey and Nic. She saw that it was in Bailey and made her start to date Jackson. It seems to have left her, though. She finds it inside of Nic, however, and it is still inside of Nic when she kills Corinne.
