What experience does James have with Ralph Beamish the racehorse trainer?

James is called to look at some racehorses. Mr. Beamish would rather have Siegfried Farnon who's a known horseman. Mr. Beamish ignores Herriot's suggestions on what to do with three of the racehorses but as he's leaving another horse needs immediate attention and James gives him a shot of adrenalin and he improves rapidly. Mr. Beamish concedes that you don't have to be a horse person to cure a horse.
