Why did momma move out of the new house?

Mark showed up on the second day, and he was drunk. Sam was so angry that the two of them fought hard in the front yard. Momma ran to her new neighbors for help. So distraught by the fight, she moved back to the little house. It was Sam that she was mad at though for upsetting the balance and peace of the new house. After all, she handled drunks her whole life, so Mark was not going to ruin her new house's peace.
