What was the Korean War story that Charles told to Rick?

Charles liked boot camp and went off to fight thinking that killing was not going to be a problem. It was cold in Korea--freezing cold. One night an assassin crept into their trench and killed a man. Charles followed the assassin out and found him crawling on the ice so as to not crack it. Charles caught the man and dunked him under the water until he drowned.
