All's Well That Ends Well What metaphors are used in All's Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 04:16 Last updated by Jill W on 27 May 18:44
Shakespeare uses war as a metaphor for manliness. All able bodied men joined the troops..... those who remained behind were usually elderly or sickly, and thus, considered unmanly.
