Randy answers the door to Dan Gunn, his friend and physician. He asks to speak to Elizabeth about her parents but suggests Randy join them. Dan does house calls on River Road that he calls the placebo circuit. He sees Lib's car at Randy's after leaving her parent's home. Dan talks to Lib about her mother's diabetes treatment and her father's depression from early retirement. Randy interrupts to tell them Mark fears an impending attack. Lib turns on radio news at six and asks Randy what it means. Dan writes war prescriptions and changes her mother's insulin to oranise.
