Elizabeth McGovern barges in and Graf barks. He recalls meeting her by seeing her long legs on the side of the pier and wanting to know whose body was attached. They are more than friends but not lovers. She kisses him and tells him she has made a decision about him. Lib tells Randy he should move to a large city with character and vitality rather than vegetating in Fort Repose. She wants a man, not a vegetable, and will follow him when he's settled.
