Where does Randy go after he leaves the grocery store and what does he do?

On the way home he stops at Bill Cullen's to buy a case and a half of bourbon and six fifths of Scotch. Bill's nickname is Bigmouth so, when he asks why Randy buys so much, Randy says he has Christmas guests. Malachai helps with groceries and Randy gives him some extra cash and tells him about Mark's fears.
