What are some of the things Randy discovers a few months after the Day, what does he miss and how does he feel?

Four months after The Day, Randy discovers that Graf warms his feet. Among many things he misses is a painless shave, music, cigarettes and a full stomach. He does not miss whiskey but misses a morning coffee. Although he weighs one fifty-two and loses, on average, a pound a week, he is leaner and harder and feels better than before The Day.
