Why does Sunny's mother say that they moved to Nigeria?

After Sunny returns from defeating Black Hat, her mother tells her why they moved to Nigeria. Sunny's mother says that she had a strong feeling that something bad was going to happen to Sunny in the United States. She told Sunny's father about her feeling, and he reluctantly agreed to move back to Nigeria.
