How does the author use foreshadowing in Ajax?

In Part II, Tecmessa's urgings that he remain alive, and Ajax assigning Teucer as guardian of Ajax's son foreshadow his suicide in Part IV. The Chorus' comment that Ajax would be better off dead rather than living in this condition also foreshadows Ajax's eventual death.
