Who is Mr. Bloomfield?

Mr. Bloomfield is Mrs. Bloomfield's husband, as well as the father of Tom, Mary Ann, Fanny and Harriet. Agnes is not impressed with Bloomfield because of his negative behaviors toward his wife and children. He is the only person who can make his children behave, although their reaction is not based upon respect, but rather fear.
