Where is the Pentagon’s Central Command, also known as CENTCOM, located as noted in the nonfiction book, The Afghanistan Papers?

Tampa, Florida is home to the Pentagon’s Central Command. Also referred to as CENTCOM, this is where most of the major war activities of the US government are coordinated. This command post was established on January 1st, 1983. Though a disperse complex, CENTCOM’s main headquarters falls within MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
