The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Why is it so easy for the King and Duke to fool the Wilkes sisters and the townspeople? Asked by bookragstutor on 28 Nov 08:47 Last updated by anonymous on 15 Jan 20:04
The King and the Duke, in Huckleberry Finn, are able to fool everyone in town because of pride. No one wants to admit to having been conned so outrageously, so they go out of the tent ranting and raving about how amazing it is.
