The title, A Tiny Feast, is important because the feast itself serves as a symbol of familial love. When the boy undergoes a change in his treatment that makes him ravenously hungry, the doctors tell Titania and Oberon that he is not allowed to eat solid food. The boy asks for a tiny feast over and over again, until Oberon finally shows up with a bag of small morsels. He, Titania, and the boy prepare the feast together, and for the first time since the boy began his treatment, they enjoy each other as a happy family.
