Tyrion Lannister from A Storm of Swords is the youngest son of Tywin Lannister. He suffers from dwarfism, and is often the butt of many jokes. He is very intelligent, however, and does a great deal behind the scenes. His sister, Cersei, dislikes him for many reasons and when he has a fight with Joffrey at his wedding she accuses him of posioning him. He is jailed and tried. Jaime has arrived, however, and he sees Cersei with new eyes, realizing that she is an evil and corrupt individual. He helps Tyrion to escape, but not before Tyrion sneaks into his father's chambers and kills him. He has been forced to marry Sansa, which is a shell of a marriage, since neither of them wanted it.
