Who is Louie’s Patients?

Dr. Louie Ward’s patients all symbolize his mother. When Louie was a child, his mother had an abortion using something she received from a Voodoo priestess. Days later, Louie found her lying on the floor in a pool of blood because of the abortion. As an adult, Louie wants to prevent other women from dying by having unsafe abortions.
