Who is Joy?

Joy is a patient at the Center who has just had an abortion when the shooting starts. She had gotten into a relationship with a man she met in the airport lounge where she worked. He was a judge who was in town only periodically. Joy had gotten pregnant and then discovered he was married. She decided to have an abortion knowing that she could not raise a child on her own.
