What secrets do Byron and Pearce reveal to one another in Book 2, Chapter IV?

When Byron and Pearce are alone, they share secrets with one another. Byron shares how his father took him to a whorehouse and tried to make him have intercourse with some of the girls there. Pearce tells Byron how his adopted parents sexually abused him.
