While in Puyo, Tree-ear goes up to the Rock of the Falling Flowers in order to keep his promise to Crane-man. Two men follow him up the cliff, overpower him, and steal his money. The men also throw the two pots that Tree-ear is carrying to Songdo off the cliff, where they shatter on the rocks below.
