What happens with Owen's collegiate schooling after he is kicked out of Gravesend Academy?

Owen is awarded scholarships to both Yale and Harvard, but decides to attend the University of New Hampshire with Johnny. Because UNH has withdrawn its scholarships after they learned of Owen's expulsion, Owen receives scholarships for school after joining the ROTC.
