The Seducer, who remains unnamed and does not appear in the poem directly, is the young man who seduced the young woman. He is described as very young and extremely handsome, with curling brown hair, intense eyes, and almost no beard. Everyone admires his beauty, as well as his fine manners, his skill on horseback, and his wit. He is extremely charming and skilled with his words, and was able to seduce even the virtuous main character. However, he is also able to abandon her with apparently no remorse for how he has affected her life.
