When Kihika was a child, he attended a Christian school. The teacher told him that under the rules of Christianity, female circumcision would not be allowed. Kihika pointed out to the teacher that nothing about the topic was mentioned in the Bible. Kihika was threatened with a beating but ran away, freeing himself from the school, and eventually finding the Movement.
