Nhamo tells Masvita a story about parents whose children are lost to them, who are separated. Perhaps Nhamo tells this story because of her own separation from her parents. Perhaps she feels rejected and longs for a world where she can belong. Perhaps it foreshadows twins in Masvita's or Nhamo's future.
