Who is Flick from A Fistful of Fig Newtons and what is their importance?

Flick is one of Ralph's friends from childhood. He goes to middle school with Ralph, as well as summer camp. Flick also gives "Skunk" his nickname, after the boys vommits all over him on the bus to summer camp.
