How does it come to pass that the tailors begin eating dinner in the main house?

Dina invites the tailors to stay for dinner, but they must eat on the veranda. Maneck, however, is offended at this arrangement and threatens to eat on the veranda himself unless Dina allow the tailors to eat around the table with them.
