Cersei's choice in A Feast for Crows, was to be Tywin's brother, Kevan. However, he wants nothing to do with the mess that he sees unfolding in Kings Landing. He also knows that Cersei is not to be trusted. She threatens him and he reminds her that he has more knights at his disposal, as well as more wealth, that she would be foolish to try anything.
