In A Feast for Crows, Cersei has met her match in Margery Tyrell. She has been well schooled by the Lady Olena (her grandmother) and is very adept at political intrigue and masterful manipulation of those around her. She also has her own network of spies, and has managed to begin to turn Tommen against his mother's dictates.
