In A Feast for Crows Arya is to keep her eyes and ears open and to report back once a week to the House of Black and White about something new that she's learned. Many times she offers them things about persons that she comes into contact with, but later she realizes that the kindly old man wants real information, such as ships that have come in and gone out, what they are carrying, and the sort of political intrigue that can be bartered for money.
