In A Feast for Crows Arienne tells Arys, who is a knight of the Kingsgard, that if he cared for her or Myrcella at all that he would help them to make Myrcella queen. Arienne and Arys have been having an affair for a while and Arys had just visited her to tell her that they can no longer continue to see one another. She tells him that if Myrcella were Queen she would free Arys to marry Arienne.
