Who is Solly Greenbourne from A Dangerous Fortune and what is their importance?

Solly is a London banker. He also attended Windfield School with Marty and Edward, where he was known as Fatty. He attends many of the same London social functions that Edward and Marty do. He dates Maisie and asks her to marry him. Solly and Maisie become social leaders in London. Solly is killed by Micky Miranda before he can reveal that Augusta and Edward were behind the anti-Semitic press campaign that cost Ben Greenbourne his chance to gain a title.
