Edward Pilaster is English and a student at Windfield School. He is the roommate of Micky Miranda and the cousin of Hugh Pilaster. His father is a banker and not on good terms with his brother, who is Hugh's father. Edward and Micky remain friends and travel together and room together at Oxford.
