How does Nesta decide what direction to find her friends in Chapter 65?

Nesta debates how to find her friends. As she is running from some males, she notices a flash of light from the charm on the woeven bracelet on her left wrist. It is glowing. When the points the charm to the north she gets a sense of panic and dread. When she points it south, there is only a faint glow and no sense of urgency or panic. She decides to go north.
