Goldie is employed as a secretary at a fur company, and she has her mind set on marrying a rich man. She vacations in upstate New York, where she meets Herbie, who she initially rejects because he isn't rich. In turn, she mistakenly believes a man named Benny is wealthy, but Benny, like Goldie, is only interested in money.
