Robert Arryn from A Clash of Kings was the former Hand of the King. He was friends with Robert Baratheon and had known him from the war. He was an honest man and found out about Cersei's incestual relationship with her brother, Jaime. He was poisoned by Cersei. He was married to Catelyn Stark's sister.
