When George Wilson meets with John Berry, he admits that he faces a number of challenges in trying to convince a jury of Art's innocence. Primarily, he realizes that he, as an African-American, will have a hard time convincing a white jury that an Asian-American abortionist is innocent when the white daughter of an influential man has died from the complications from an abortion. Getting past the stereotypes of that era and getting through to the people on the jury will be an enormous challenge for George.
