They meet at Gwen's business, K-9 Korners, where Gwen is busy grooming dogs. She doesn't seem upset by Kinsey's questions or Nikki's reopening of the case, but she states that she believes Nikki was guilty and the case is closed. Gwen tells Kinsey that Laurence was a terrible man but did have personal charm. She states that she was the perfect wife but was not bitter about the end of the marriage; she was bitter about losing custody of her children.
