Kinsey decides she has to return to Nikki's beach house to follow up on something. What is it, and what is the result of the follow up?

Kinsey is still bothered by Colin's identifying Gwen Fife's photo as "Daddy's mother." She wants to ask Colin more about this but finds it very hard to communicate with the deaf boy. Kinsey is quite sure a fourteen-month-old toddler would not remember someone that clearly years later and feels Colin has seen Gwen in more recent time. Nikki does not like what Kinsey is implying, that Laurence was seeing Gwen behind her back. Kinsey reminds her that Nikki is paying her to find out the truth. She also tells her that Charlotte Mercer said that Laurence had a habit of seeking out old lovers.
