Lyle is not eager to talk to Kinsey, but he does tell her that he was not happy with Libby's dumping him for a lawyer from Santa Teresa. He is not absolutely sure it was Laurence she was having an affair with, but he thinks it might have been. He says he quit law school because of his dope habit. Lyle suggests that Libby might have committed suicide because of her grief over Laurence's death.
