In Chapter 6, where does Kinsey meet Nikki to talk about what she has learned so far? What is the place like? What information do they share?

Nikki and Kinsey meet at the marital home where Laurence died. They had lived in Montebello, a very wealthy part of Santa Teresa. Nikki tells Kinsey she has not slept there since she got out of jail but is living in a beach house that Laurence's mother left her. Kinsey comments that the house seems perfectly decorated but, to herself, thinks it cold. Nikki admits that it looks good, but she never liked it, and decorated it in a neutral manner just to get back at Laurence. Nikki and Kinsey discuss Charlie Scorsoni, and Nikki expresses her opinion that Charlie did not have a motive to kill Laurence. They also talk about Gwen. Nikki feels some guilt about breaking up their marriage. She tells Kinsey that Laurence and Gwen divorced because Gwen had had an affair.
