Imaginary Homelands
How does the author describe the old photograph in CH 1?
.
.
In the first chapter of Imaginary Homelands the author describes the old photograph, which hangs in a cheap frame, as a photo pf a house that was taken before his birth. He describes the house itself as "peculiar—a three- storeyed gabled affair with tiled roofs and round towers in two corners, each wearing a pointy tiled hat."
