Does Winterbourne deserve Daisy Miller's respect?

In my opinion, he does not. Winterbourne's motives are not honorable, he sees Daisy's vivaciousness as an excuse for bad behavior, never considering that the world she was raised in was far different than her own. Winterbourne, and others, take advantage of Daisy with no intentions of safeguarding her reputation. Daisy herself... is ignorant of the social mores outside her own country.
