How can the five different senses be used in poetic imagery? Choose a phrase which depicts an emotion or theme from the play told through the use of poetic imagery. Which sense does it represent: sight, touch, sound, taste, or smell? Rewrite the phrase four times, using the remaining four senses while keeping the meaning of the imagery intact.
For example: "Angry as a raging bull" can be rewritten "Angry as a roar."
