How do you spell it?
The text was written in the 18th century by an Englishman, so his spelling of many common words is not the same as today's American English. Split the class into groups and give them a set amount of time to find as many words as possible that are spelled differently than the way they would spell them. The group with the most words wins. Ask the class if the spelling differences hindered comprehension or made any kind of difference.
